Hawks -125, series is coming back to the windy city Wednesday night for game 7. The sleeping giant awakened in game 5 and winning a road game is nothing new to this team. They did it all season and essentially lost game 4 1-0 (minus empty net goal) but finally figured out that Howard is human and they also found the power play. I expect a similar effort from game 5 and see a 3-1 type Hawks win here. BOL fellas, fade or follow, not putting a gun to anyone's head but this is how I see it

I like the bet but not nearly as much as you do.  Detroit are too good as a home dog to make a large bet against IMO. GL and I like the 3-1 prediction; I say 3-2.

I don't play totals either but 5 looks spot on to me.  If anything I would recommend the over because I think each team nets 2, then again I think it pushes.

I would like to think the Hawks keep the momentum going and seem too good and that they have too much talent to lose to Detroit, but am just not all that confident about the outcome of game 6. I like the Hawks -125, but won't go too heavy on it. If they win though? I will be going large on game 7.

go large on game 6 - game 7 will be juiced at 185-210.

These teams have met 9 times now this season including playoffs and only once has the total exceeded 5 and that was the Easter blowout by the hawks so yes I do like the under. Both goalies have been good and I cannot see a 4-3 or 5-4 type game. I think you push at worst going under 5

Exactly, you will pay 2/1 or better for game 7. My point is you cannot pass up this value. I know Detroit has been good at home and respect that, but this is a must win game and hawks have been here before. Two years ago they were down 3-0 to the Nucks and forced a 7th game before losing in O.T. Should the hawks survive this series, you won't get them much cheaper the rest of the way, until the finals should they get that far. BOL folks. If it goes down in flames, I will be the first to congratulate the Wings, but I feel very strongly about this.

if you like the hawks to win tonight why dont you just bet them to win the series at +165 , i can't see them forcing a game 7 @ home and losing if it go's back to chi the hawks are taking it.

And, as LRR said, you can hedge out on plus-money Wings in Game Seven if you wish.

was my point exactly, chi2809. WHY lay that -130 when the series is still available AND, like PBW pointed out, you can either "hedge" or "let it ride" IF they WIN Game 6?
