Avalanche have won 5 of the last 6 head to head meetings between the two teams.

Goaltender Sami Aittokallio will make his NHL debut for the Avs in net at the ripe young age of 20. This will make your wager seems nicer on the surface but you would be amazed how many times a young goalie comes in and gets his first NHL win in his first game playing behind a team that plays their butts off in front of him to protect him. His a young Finn with very quick reflexes. This is could go one way or the other.

Kings have lost 2 in a row and 4 of their last 7.

Both Kings goaltenders had poor games in their last outings.

Kings are 1 and 5 in their last 6 in the fourth of a 4 in 6 situation.
