Nobody in Vegas would give a sh it about that team if they weren't succesful.
Ofcourse not it is the same reason they stole young ready to win franchises from minnesota and quebec city and placed them in dallas and colorado so they could immedaitely win stanley cups because otherwise the teams would have never been supported in those cities....

I thought the same thing. It was a text book interference penalty plus the cross check to the face all of which happened right in front of the official.

I'm just saying, the arena in Vegas will look like the one in Sunrise, Florida very soon.

You might be right, but on he other hand it might look like Winnipeg. Who knows and I really don't care. @ million people and one sports team. Odds are good that they will have a decent following. We'll see.

People mentioning not getting a penalty after like that means something in terms of game orchestration lol. How do some of you survive your days?
Simple fact the Winnipeg Jets star player was brutally and obviously cross checked in the face by one of the Knights plug defencemen, causing serious and visual injury to the Jets star and NHL playoff scoring leader. This took place just mere feet from the referee who was staring right at them and saw the brutal infraction and for reasons only he knows not only CHOSE to ignore it but CHOSE to penalize the Jets star for swinging his stick as he spun around and catching the plug defenceman Mcnabb on his skate.
The question must then be asked WHY? Why did the referee CHOOSE to do this. I capitalize the the choice part so people can stop using stupid words like they missed the call and or they got it wrong. NO they rarely miss calls and they don't get it wrong, they do exactly what they intend to do, so then an intelligent person would ask WHY did they do that, in this case WHY did the referee CHOOSE to do that? What is that referee trying to achieve? What is his agenda?
Driving the hardest part of your stick in a vicious manner through an opposing players face should be an easy 5 minute major. It is an intentional and very violent blow to the head with a weapon that caused obvious injury as evidenced upon the player, for sure an intent to injure, obviously, and he succeeded. At best this was an automatic double minor and that would be super soft for what happened but it would be something. Instead there was nothing for it and the Jets star player was instead called for a phantom penalty and had to go sit in the box with his bloodied face, when asked why, he was told to shut his mouth and get in the box.
This event is a massive swing, the Jets should have had at least two powerplays in a row but in reality a full 5 minute powerplay and mcnabb should have been tossed from the game, leaving the knights with one less defenceman. Instead Mcnabb remained and the Knights were the team with the powerplay which was beyond mind boggling and so crooked. These things I suggest are never about my opinion they are the basic simple rules that are in place for the game today. I don't make the rules, the league does, but they only follow them when it suits them.
Leads in these games are MASSIVE and a lead for the Jets, which they never had in the two games in Vegas would have changed everything obviously. Falling behind Fleury right now is like death.
This was a disgusting display of crooked favoritism and anyone that can't see it...well you know, it's been said before so no point repeating the intellectual insults. Instead people that can't comprehend this simple stuff in plain and obvious sight of all of us call other people names for pointing out these blatant biases which itself is at a level of ignorance so astounding it just amazes me.

We'll never see another expansion draft set up the way Vegas benefited.
Ofcourse you will, this is not the first time the NHL has set a team up for instant success. Young talented franchises were stolen from good loyal fans and full arenas in both Minnesota and Quebec City so that Dallas and Colorado could have instant Stanley Cup championships because they knew there were not REAL hockey fans in those cities the game would fail miserably unless there was instant success so they stole teams away from other cities. they will do whatever they have to do to create business Not sure why people have a hard time with this. it is ALL MONEY and all BUSINESS and nothing else matters. Seattle will get the same draft rules the little CROOKED KUNT already said so.
When it would change is if they do ever give canada another expansion draft that is when the little piece of crap would change the rules back because they know the canadian fans would go to the games and full the arena for the love of the game win or lose unlike the most of the cities in the states getting new franchises that will not support a team unless they win a immediately and win a lot.

There are still people walking on this earth that don\t realize that Sydney Crosby was placed on the Penguins by the NHL with their fake lottery draft to save their franchise which had just finished in last place in the NHL and because their fans are fake fans their attendance was also DEAD LAST in the NHL. The NHL did the same thing for the Penguins in the 80's when they placed Mario Lemieux on the team through the same process for the same reasons to save them because the arena was empty then too and the same results were achieved in both cases.

I should clarify in 1984 when the Pens got Lemieux a tanking was instructed so that the Pens could pick first overall. The the secret lottery began in 1995 right after bettman took control lol go figure...so the league could have complete control over which teams got certain players in the draft.

You guys sound like Nancy Pelosi and Hillary Clinton.... Just ragging on other posters like those two pigs do, against anyone who disagrees with them...
Canada doesn’t get teams because most of the players cannot make the money benefits given in the Middle Americas...
It is simple economics...
Actually it would be the opposite because those two lady creatures you speak of speak to the general masses, the populace so that would be you and your kind that are more like them, the last thing they represent is the minority, the outside the dummy box thinking. By the way that reasoning for teams going to cities that don't care about hockey instead of giving quebec city a franchise back is the funniest thing I have read in a while so thank you for that...sincerely, that is fukking priceless lol

skinnycat until there is a professional canadian league it will all just be orchestrated bullshitt. The talent level would not be the same obviously but all the arenas would be full so there would be no need to direct winning towards a certain region or city, there would be interest everywhere and no need to desperately try to grow the game anywhere through the manipulation of teams success and games themselves, The winning of the championships would be pure like the NHL was decades ago. I would be a loyal fan of the league and attend their games and buy their merchandise and give them all my support, I imagine there would be no instigator rule and the players would police themselves, because there would no need to try and control the games as much through referees. One can only dream......

The Vegas team is doing a great job. Especially Fleury. I just can't stand NHL franchises from places like Florida or Vegas. And we are heading towards Tampa vs Vegas.
