Big buzz in this city right now as the folks from the Burbs have piled in for the big game tonight. The streets are alive in the Big Smoke! We'll see how alive they are come 11 pm.
I'm expecting a tight checking, intense game in Toronto with both netminders playing well in this pivotal game 3. Their will be powerplays but I have confidence in both pk units.
In New York and L.A I am expecting the goal scorers to get a little retribution on the checkers and netminders tonight. There are a lot of great goal scorers on all four teams involved that have yet to register a single goal in these playoffs.
I expect to see Clowe for the Rangers tonight and he will help light a fire under their butts, while making room for Nash. With or without him however this is a play. The Caps take this series but not that so easy, not so fast. Rangers play a little better at home and Caps play a little weaker on the road.
The Ducks are simply a more complete team than the Red Wings and I expected that series to be over in 5 or 6 at most, and I have seen nothing to this point to sway me from that thinking.
I think the Blues are the better team this year and they know they need to get a grip on this series tonight, and not allow that lead they had to vanish. I think their urgency and hunger will be greater.
Been running pretty good so far, hopefully the gambling and hockey gods both allow me to continue in that direction tonight.
