Montreal at Buffalo March 24, 2010

Question

Camalleri and Bergeron most likely return to the lineup for Montreal. Moen will not make the trip for Montreal after taking a skate to the face against Ottawa which required quite a few stitches to close or at least that was the last I heard on this matter.

After winning 6 in a row the Habs have now lost 2 in a row to the Leafs and then Senators and now travel to Buffalo.

Buffalo enters this game on a 3 game winning streak.

Buffalo has won all 3 meetings so far this season.

01-03-10 Buffalo 1 at Montreal 0 Miller-Price

12-14-09 Buffalo 4 at Montreal 3 Miller-Halak

12-03-09 Montreal 2 at Buffalo 6 Miller-Halak

First game back home after a long road trip for Buffalo but Buffalo is 20-6-1 in their last 27 games at home after a road trip of 7 or more days so they fair more than ok in such a spot.

Montreal is 9-23 in their last 32 road games against a team with a winning home record.

Montreal is 1-6 in the last 7 meetings.

Montreal is 1-4 in the last 5 meetings in Buffalo.

Buffalo has scored 14 goals in their last 3 games and Miller looks to be building some momentum back after not looking quite himself since the break and then being yanked from his net after 3 quick goals against Atlanta 4 games ago, the last time Buffalo lost.

I really like this spot for the Buffalo Sabres and this game would not mean a season sweep for those that have a tough time backing a team in position to sweep another team in the season series as Montreal will host Buffalo on Hockey Night In Canada on April 3rd so they have another chance to avoid the sweep then.

The line opened at -160 to -170 depending where you look for Buffalo.

The Habs are generally always overpriced and their fans will usually always step up to lay a few bucks down, I don`t know if we will see anymore value here by waiting but can hope for it I guess stork.....

Montreal won the first meeting 2-1 in OT. Miller - Price.

The 6-2 loss with Halak was also his first game in a month.

Price should get the start after 16 days off. He is also wearing new equipment.

I do like that Montreal already has a win under their belt against them though....Gonna pull it down and add that now thanks....

Makes no sense but does happen with consistency and the Buffalo first game home trend is very relevant as it goes to charachter of the team....

im actually leaning towards the under here...despite price being in net...under is still heavily juiced..you can bet the public will be on the over tom tooo...but if you look it prices two meetings with the sabers this year..he has done well...ryan miller will holdup his end of the bargain for the under..the rest is on price..but with the way he has played against the sabers this year and his chance to get what is becoming a rareity in a start..i would expect a good effort from him...

Another stat that favours you polar bear is Buffalo are 7-1 off a win and 2 days off....But Montreal had 2 bad games with low effort, tonight, there&#x27;ll be effort in them there legs for sure.

im a habs fan. im not even puttin half a unit on them.  oh yeah and who was in net during that winning streak, halak. price helps them to be a more mediocre team. even though camm is a big part the team little guy plays with heart, itll motivate them though.oh yeah price is in net. just my two cents! Certainly a possibility. With the 4-2 score I would be looking for an empty netter at the end. Should be a 3-2 type game, really depends on the first 10 minutes of the game IMO......

I would think Under is the play but the game could easily be 3-3 or 4-2 at the end of regulation.....Too much juice for an under play for me. Buffalo has been lighting the lamp lately....

I think he comes to play tonight. I think getting pulled a few games back really got his attention and got him refocused and Buffalo has been putting the puck in the net lately as well.
