The time has finally come for me to step down here at Covers and turn the daily hockey thread over to Lippsman. You guys are lucky to have a person like Lippsman who has been there when ever I asked for help and will now take over the thread. He can do as he pleases and change the format as he sees fit
I started the hockey thread about 5 years ago as a place for hockey cappers to post picks in one neat thread so that it would be easy to find out who is hot and also share some info on games. It has more than served its purpose and continues to thrive because of each and every one of you who takes the time to drop by and post picks. It is rare that any problems develop and there are no better posters than hockey people. You guys get along and really do want to help each other.
I ran the thread by myself in the early days and have had many, many late nights but I loved doing it as well.
Some posters have been with me for along time like Faisov, Fourwedge,Sharpaction,Webba,Rinkrat, Zipnjaz, Wjeremy97,Bear and of course Lippsman to name just a few. Thousands have come and gone since the thread has been intact
Thanks again Lippsman and I know you will do a terrific job..
I will still drop by to post picks from time to time but will not be around as much. If Lippsman ever need a hand he knows he can give me a shout and I will be there.
So with all that said I want to thanks everyone for the respect they always showed me (a female in a male dominated forum).
