Pretty cagey move by Carey there to stall for the honing of his skate.


My buddies from Ottawa know him and say he is a party animal and used to shovel more snow than an Eskimo if you know what I mean.

But they also say they used to see him out more in a month than they have in 2 years......it's showing.

Yep I believe they said it was his first playoff game and it definitely should be his last for awhile.

If they benched refs for making a bad call they might run out of refs this post season. Maybe those refs from the infamous touchdointerception play from GB Seattle are available for work

What is the ref supposed to do though say you have to play with a wardrobe malfunction ??

Not being a dik just seriously asking can the ref refuse him there and say no not in this situation you can go next whistle. Or does he have to allow repairs ??


Also a skate may be a different issue than say a broken clip on a helmet.

So...question for you "Vets"...with the Habs going up 3-0. Do you wager big that they want the home sweep or will they take a night off in game 4?

Doc, with Lindback in net, its hard to back the Bolts.  Not saying its all his fault, but when you let in a bad goal in the first 11 secs of a game, it deflates the players.

I agree with that Danger, but my thinking is this....Do they (Habs) play hard to win and not go back to Tampa or do they cruise knowing they have a big cushion. Seen it before (Yankees/Bosox AL Champ several years ago)

But wait..3-2 now could not matter...

If they have to play the Bruins they will probably want as much rest as they can get. They cam wrap it up and sit at home while Detroit and Boston beat the shiit out of each other

he let 3 bad ones in last game. did you see him kick it into his own net? how about that amazing poke check, missed the puck completely, fukking joke.
