Excellent question and one worth asking, thank you. When I say I expect to hit 2/3 I mean worst case scenario. I think all 3 could net me 3 units, and if I parlay them its good for +400 Of course I could be way off and the way things have been going with my totals this year I am being a bit rash here... but I've always played my totals this way. I make no apologies for laying the juice because historically it has not hurt me tremendously doing so on totals.
BEST CASE: 3-0 +3 units
LIKELY: 2-1 for half a unit
UNLIKELY 1-2 for a 1.5 unit loss
TRULY NOT LIKELY 0-3 for said 4.5 unit loss
If you prefer to play these as 5s which I've been doing much of this season, and pushing on nearly all, godspeed. I'm tired of pushing when 5.5 was hugely advantageous in retrospect. NHL hockey with OT incl, 5 is the most common total so you just can't complain about the high commission you pay to go under 5.5
