I feel game 1 carries more for Toronto. They went 0-4 v Bs in regular season. In order for this to be s competitive series, Leafs needs to get that monkey off their backs.
Speaking of Nylander, kid was lighting it up early, signed his big contract and not a whole lot from him. Needs to suck it up and play playoff hockey.
Don't have any new info on Nylander for you Doc other than he missed practice yesterday and was expected to be a game time decision.
And yes the grit seems to have gone out of his game since the new contract but Nylander is usually one to step up when it's playoff time.
Leafs need this first game , will we see much of Reaves ? This is where guys like Bertuzzi and Domi need to prove their worth.
