Could not watch the Prague game - DirecTV said it was "blacked out in my local area"... What in the fucking fuck of fucks does that mean? I think I'll send them my next check with the amount "blacked out in the local area of the amount box"...

Stanley Cup playoffs were just brutal on Dog Bettors last year. Lippsman Split was in the Red for first time in at least 5 years. Looking to make positive ROI again here in 2024. Be glad to help with "Puck Talk" as well this year. Let's see what Doc has in store for now.
Prague Game 2 - expect we'll see the backups: Young Darren Levi against Jake the Snake Allen. Smells like an Over from that perspective, but these guys are playing B2B afternoon tilt off a night game, and its early in the season. Could be some tired legs and slower moving play. Just read that Faves in the NHL Global Series are 19-7 (73%) since 2010 and that is in part thanks to a recent 10-1 run by Faves. With the favs winning 73% lately, the Devils at -150 range seem to hold the value. Interesting to note however that Lindy was recently fired by the Devils, and is now back on the Sabres bench, so you know he's motivated. Problem is, he isn't wearing skates.
Leaning Game Under 6.5; 1P Under 1.5; and Sabres 1P Tie No Bet Those can all be found at plus money.

"Local Area"....down here in the South, it was on NHL network....I can tell you the pace of the game of better than what you would expect from a "first game". Both goalies made some really good saves, especially Markstrom with his stick save. Swords put more pucks on net. Allen was adequate last year but I see several getting past him tomorrow (if he gets the net). Levi, was thrown to the wolves last year and I can tell you he wasn't that impressive at Rochester either. I am leaning the over in that one.
I don't know how in the hell you and Weebs keeps a full year record. I am going to attempt it again this year. I might just keep all my picks in one thread and BS in others.

"Up your nose with a rubber hose!" A Classic - hard to believe that show is 50 years old. Much like a lot of us...
Thanks for the post game recap. Don't like Overs with both teams on B2B, but I agree that it was first reaction to the game as I started putting some thought to capping it. I'll figure something out in the AM.
And I defiantly have to figure out WTF is with DirecTV NHL Network.
