I hate to say it, but that was an exceptionally boring tournament. Honestly, with the exception of the US-Russia game (which was excellent) I cannot recall an entertaining game.
I imagine that there were a lot of reasons for this fact, including Canadian dominance, but this tourney just plain sucked.

Canada vs. Latvia was actually pretty decent. A 2-1 game with out of this world goaltending by the second string Latvian goalie, and a really nice goal scored by Latvia.

Pretty much all the women's games with the exception of US/Can (Obviously) were absolutely horrific. I watched the Japan/Sweden game and it was the equivalent of watching a bunch of 10 year olds play. And then there was US/Sweden with the shots 70-9!
Men's had a handful of decent games. The Slovenian team provided some decent entertainment with the "surprise" wins, and Austria was somewhat exciting with Grabner. Although their win against Norway was overshadowed by their "hangover" game against Slovenia.
Finland/Sweden was decent, as well as Canada/Latvia game.
By far the best game of the tourny was US/Russia. TJ Oshie pulling the "Toews" shootout magic was incredible to watch. Too bad that couldn't have been a game later on in the tourny. Definitely a moment that won't be forgotten.
And boy was Slovakia a disappointment...

I mean Latvia god bless em they needed a miracle and almost got one but realistically their one recognizable name: sandis ozolinsh, 41-yr-old, 5 yrs removed from NHL...
only hope for them and the swiss, Norways, Austrisa et al: bring in a coach who knows systems and can sell snake-oil , pray your goalie is david copperfield, and trap 90 per cent of the pond...
and after all that, hope the puck goes in the other team's net once or twice off some1's rear end...
solution if the pros r still gonna part of it: hold a pre-Games elimination, cull the field down to 6 teams tops, then have a round-robin Canada cup-style tournament with a best-of-three final
