Big Plays: 8-1 (5* or Higher)
I went 2-0 and picked up 5.3 units last night thanks to the Islanders and Canadiens edging out wins. On a side note I've called the Islanders "trash" twice on here and both times they came back down two goals to win, so if you ever need the Islanders to win a game let me know and I'll bash them for you. I'm looking for my ninth straight big play win tonight. This is my second largest wager of the season. The odds aren't with me, so beware.
NJ Devils -135 (8*)
I had a huge write-up done and my computer crashed. Here is the short version: I had a big play on Philly vs. Winnipeg because it was a good matchup for Philly. This is a terrible matchup for Philly. NJ has dominated the series. Philly is playing better. Philly is 4-1-1 over last six but those are against teams they match up well with like Canes (they own), Tampa (can't beat anyone) and Winnipeg. Over same span they also lost to Florida and when they had a chance to send a message in Toronto the game was over in the first period. Last time out was a terrible spot for NJ. Came off back-to-back wins over Pens and lost to Canes at home. Now rested and get team they dominate at home playing third leg of a road trip. I love this spot for the Devils that's why I'm taking a shot with them for 8 units tonight. We'll see how it turns out.
