I'm thinking the same thing, guys. Penguins have almost a Florida Panther style MIX of young kids and vets right now and it's WORKING. they are scoring like the "Mario Penguins" back in the early 1990's. I wonder WHAT all they could get for Geno off season?
NOW that is the question. Could use a first line D man....

IMO...the only way the Rags win is to out score them..and I haven't seen that from them in over a month.
I see where you're going with this but I disagree. Because I don't think it's possible. I think the Rags goalie is gonna have to get hot and shut em down. I don't think the Rags can win this series or even more than 1 game, playing a wide open, shootout type game

I cannot figure out why the Stars line has not moved all day with the announcement of Parise, Vanek and Haula out tomorrow.
Oh well, I am ignoring the Lipps split in that one and actually placed one of my larger wagers on the Stars tomorrow. Guess that is why they call it gambling.
and Blues cannot put one past Crawfish to save their lives...this will be a 1-0 2-0 game...

Something to ponder during the intermission...

Vic...where is your side kick? The SOB disappears for the playoffs? Did the ATM's wipe him out?
and I agree, no way they will keep him out BUT i would....
Actually he's been doing quite well with his wagers lately without posting them so i think he's trying not to jinx it by posting here. I do know that in the past years he doesn't wager often in the playoffs. Ill have to try and drag his azz back here

My theory... It's not moving because the large value bettors know this thing is gonna sky rocket tomorrow afternoon/early evening. And the betting public isn't gonna be savvy enough to take this line the night before.
However, I'm with you. I'm gonna grab the Stars -1 and tt over tonight. I'm also gonna hit them -1.5 for the series tonight I think. I don't like the Stars at all. Think they're gonna win this one and be done. But I don't think the Wild are gonna pose much of a problem

I see your point Wheaty but let's be honest. While Henry is capable, he has not shown us shiiiit for the past 6-8 weeks. His past 16 starts, his GA is 2.875. I just don't see him turning around. ON the flip side, Pens need MAF to return, Jerkoff cannot continue to keep this up. It will be interesting.

The line is kinda shady on that Stars game. Ill more than likely be playing the Wild tomorrow night and the next game if they lose Game 1

I totally understand the "winning and not posting" thing and no playoffs, but he can be cordial and shoot the shiiit with us..and to think, he was giving you soooo much hell about not being here at the beginning and the Bermuda Triangle...

Haha I totally agree. I don't think Lundy CAN do it either. I'm just saying I think that's their only shot. But again, it's just game 1 of the series. However, the Pens have been doing this for weeks now. I think Rags fans should see the writing on the wall.

GOOD point, wheaty. WHEN the Rangers have beaten the Penguins in past playoffs the have "ground out" low scoring games and Lundqvist has been outstanding in goal. they get into a "skate & shoot" with THIS Pittsburgh crew they will probably get BLOWN OUT

The line being at -168 sent alarms off in my head as well. But I try not to let lines affect me during the playoffs. I mean look at the Pens line today lol, it went from -140 to -180 to -150 to -190 to -145 again.
GAC is right, tomorrow it'll be at -200 or higher and if it's not, then I may join Vic and play the Wild

Yep, but I went fishing. It'll be over 200 by noon tomorrow, if not then I will reconsider my bet because it is rather LARGE.
I am in no way trying to steer you away. The Stars can just as well win both games at home but at those prices on the Wild I'm gonna hope they can pull out a split.
