Simply disgraceful. Anyone remember how bad this team was for decades before he righted the ship and brought about an indomitable dynasty to this team, they have made a blunder of historic proportions. The worst firing in Chicago history used to be Phil Jackson, this one takes the cake by a mile. Remember the good times, it&#x2019;s gonna be a long while before the Hawks come back from the wilderness.

Sometimes the coach gets fired just because the players need a change to get them motivated again. It&#x27;s nothing against the coach, just players getting a little too comfortable. That&#x27;s why some coaches will get picked up right after getting fired by another team.

He righted the ship eh....I thought I saw Toews, Kane, and Keith dominating games, never saw Q on the ice. As a matter of fact, anyone around the team knows that they always won despite of him....he was more of an obstacle to the teams success than a driving force. Btw, 2010 Blackhawks is one of the greatest teams ever to be assembled....only achilles heel was the goaltending but the team was just so superior that they still won a cup in dominant fashion with an absolute sieve in net.

-One of the most top loaded teams of the last decade and somehow they always had a terrible powerplay....only Q and his golden boy Dineen can explain that, it takes special talent to pull that off. Awful special teams...

-Constant & unnecessary line juggling, which resulted in the team being unable to develop any chemistry in the past few years.

-Treating young/inexperienced players like dog**** so they can never develop. One mistake and they are in his "doghouse"....just look at Kempny as one example, a guy that Q found to be completely useless and the Hawks gave away became one of the unsung heroes of the Caps in the playoffs.

Q had these faults since the beginning but they grew like a mold over the years and really showed their true color when the salary cap + stupid decisions by Bowman decimated the team.

Its obv not all his fault and Stan will be the next to go if this mess continues....finger pointing aside, the team needed a new voice & system. All coaches have a shelf life...
