this is pretty funny that everyone thinks i hate their team  the other day i hated the blackhawks. do you rangers blowhards realize you just needed 7 games plus overtime to beat the crapitals??  do you realize that the rangers have scored 2 goals or less in 7 of their last 10 games? do you realzie tampa has won 5 of the last 6 against the rangers? do you realize a lot of times the way i bet series is if i like a team and think they will advance i just be them every game and hope im plus 1 at the end instead of zig zagging and guessing and going 0-7.  hows that? you feel better that i dont hate your team now rangers fans?

Its at 1pm because Hockey is still a afterthought in mainstream America ..NBA comes 1st in media attention

That being said Rangers will not be playing with a week off like last game 1 and aren't playing a team as physical ,as Caps were . This series will be more scoring and less hitting .Rangers can only beat themselves as proved again in last series /

i dont know man ive given up on what they re trying to do. there is no nba playoffs tonight. now i know they didnt know there wouldnt be when this was set but this would have been the only game on every tv in every sports bar in north america other then the local baseball team.  its a great matchup too. i got sht to do but ill just do it tomorrow but like dccusa said people got yardwork and all that other sht people do on saturday afternoons. pissed away a great marketing opportunity in prime time.

Everyone I believe this is more of an NBC move, they want the wall to wall NBC Sports cluster of NHL, pre-race Preakness coverage, and Preakness. Last year I believe they had the Kings and Rangers playing like a 7:30 game following the Belmont... Which would be alot better in terms of getting eyeballs today, playing this game after Preakness and getting a carryover audience. Looks like THE VOICE is on network NBC in prime time tonight... Haha Wow
