Shouldn't Van be fav over Edmen?

I don't watch pucks until the playoffs, but I don't understand this line?

Van is banged up. Edm has the NHL MVP. That being said Van has a good record versus Edm this year. I don't know what to expect at all so will watch the first period.

No. Edmonton is much better than Vancouver. 

Sometimes you have to listen to what the line is saying.  I need to be better at that.  I heard it but disregarded it.  A road favorite says they are the much better team and that is what they are.  This one is over.  I just hope there is 6 goals.

Well from 4-1 lead to losing 4-5 says otherwise. Big Oil choke job.  

This is why the oil won’t get out of the west. The winner of the avs/stars will represent the west in the final.

Of course there will be a game 2 but Oil literally choked a 3 goal lead with injured team.  They are definitely not winning shit this year. Remarkable.

Dude come now. Literally had to score 4 unanswered goals to win. Got lucky. We all do from time to time.  No need to act like it was a trap.  Edmonton definitely not lifting the cup though.

after losing one game suggesting canucks over preds and lost i was rather afraid to say anything at all.

i took van +220 for the series and +120 for the game. u can see my play on this site. i suck at totals rn in nhl.

edmonton has better individually talented players such as drai and mcdavid. hyman is pretty good but ofc not like the 2 former.

i have read edmonton twitter all year long. they have 4 main eff ups that make this ' team' very ordinary. nurse was burned many times today he makes $9 mill

and is a complete paycheque player. codi ceci is also a huge liability for oilers. next on list is connor brown who finally got a goal this year after a few years.

then u just witnessed their goalie skinner who in fact cost them this game. he is wildly inconsistent. compare this to the van twitter they have problems with mikayev and petey pettersson. petey is in a goal drought but he draws penalties , is great at passing and is playing some decent defense. same can be said for ilya who is fast but has hands of lead. cole cost vancouver 2 goals - one on the pp from him coming to the bench too slow on the 6 man adv call then 2-0 on a direct pass onto drai's stick. other than that there is no complaints. they have capable goalies after demko. maybe the best defense left of all the teams remaining. they also have depth. the 3rd line for vancouver is the league's best.

i see the line is the same for the next game which tells me van has a great chance to win game 2- and also edm is no longer the cup fav - the rangers are.

in summary vancouver is a better team . edm has the 2 most talented players but a cohesive unit- they are not.

will edm come back? maybe depends if mcdavid can actually register a shot. he had zero today.

if oilers do win this series they will be beat up from massive punishment from maybe the largest in terms of size dmen that vancouver has. so if oil does win this series somehow - my money is on dallas or colorado.
