SJSharks Tuesday Pucks

Sharks ML (-110) 2 Units: Of course ill be back backing my team at a good price. The Sharks are fresh off an solid 4-1 season opening win in Calgary on Sunday night. In large part thanks to a very strong outings from Niemi and Marleau. Meanwhile the Oilers started the season off with a win of their own vs the Canucks in a shootout. The young talent on the Oilers roster is downright scary. I think oddmakers are gonna have there hands full when setting lines involving the Oilers because it's gonna be very hard to predict how consistent there young talent will be night in and night out. This will be a good match up with the more veteran squad in SJ vs the young blood of the Oilers. The Sharks have had success in Edmonton recently (7-2 L9) and 11-4 in the L15 overall, but that doesn't hold alot of stock due to how bad the Oilers have been in recent years. I reckon this will be a good hard fought close game, but I think the Sharks will end on top to the tune of a 3-2 final.


Stars ML (+140) 1 Unit: This is purely a value play on the rested Stars against the aging Wings who have a lot of question marks. I took the over in the Wings/Jackets game on Monday night and it played out accordingly. The Wings got off to a quick start and the offense got going, but the weaknesses on defense and in net plagued them (despite escaping with a shootout victory). The Wings then had a late night flight back to Michigan in anticipation of hosting the Stars. Normally I wouldn't dare bet against the Wings when they at the confines of Joe Louis; However, the Wings struggled down the stretch last season at home, finishing 5-5-2 in there last 12, and losing both home games against the Predators. History and #s are against the Stars in this one, but I think the Stars will be the better team on Tuesday and stand a good chance at stealing this one.


Panthers/Canadians U 5.5 (-135) 1 Unit: Where is the offense going to come from in this one? Similar to the feeling I had of the Leafs/Sabres boring type of game on Monday  2-1 final). I think this one will be a similar type of game. The Panthers struggled to score on the road last season and they continued that trend getting blanked in Ottawa on Monday. The Panthers are gonna be hit or miss type of offense this season and think they will struggle to score most nights. Meanwhile the Canadiens aren't exactly loaded on offense either. They are also still without the services of PK Subban who remains out with a contract dispute. This does make them more vulnerable on the defensive end, but this is a big piece of there offense and a very dynamic player not in the line up. Carey Price is probable to start and he has a 2.23 gaa and a .931 save % vs the Panthers in his carrer. Meanwhile  Clemmensen will most likely be getting the nod for Florida, and that bodes well for the under. In 7 outings, in which 5 of those were starts he is 6-0 with a 1.68gaa and .940 save %. Hoping for a snoozefest
