I find it interesting that the Panthers are the series favorite at -130 to win the Stanley Cup but yet Connor McDavid is the Conn Smythe favorite at +200.
There have only been 5 instances where a player from the losing team in the Stanley Cup final has won the Conn Smythe trophy and four of those players were netminders:
Roger Crozier - Detroit - 1966
Glenn Hall - St. Louis - 1968
Reggie Leach - Philadelphia - 1966
Ron Hextall - Philadelphia - 1987
Jean-Sebastien Giguere - Anaheim - 2003
