Boucher is 2-2 in his 4 starts with the o/u at 0-4-0. He has allowed 9 goals but has played in FIVE games all together and has posted one shutout. Boucher lost his only home start allowing 4 goals in that game.
Luongo has played 20 games and posted two shutouts. He has allowed 46 goals and the o/u is 11-9-0 in his games. Luongo is 3-0 vs non-conference teams and has allowed only 4 goals in those 3 games.
With the Canucks at +120 this may be the play of the day however the Nucks are only 2-3 in B2B games this season while the Flyers are 4-1 when playing with 3 or more days rest.
The Flyers are 2-5 in non-conference games and the o/u is also 2-5 in those games as well.
I am gonna go out on a limb here and say that I expect the under to cover with the Canucks covering the reverse puck line with at least a 2 goal victory over the Flyers tonight, 12/03/2009.
The Flyers are 13-3 in thier last 13 games vs Vancouver HOWEVER they have lost those 3 games ALL IN Philadelphia.
Thursday has been a great day for the dogs and this is definitely the dog play of the night.
My best estimate is Vancouver-4 at Philadelphia-1
Under 5.5 goals.
Note: Ducks at Stars is the other great dog play of the day.

Look for Jean-Sebastien Giguere to get the start in goal for
Giguere had played in four straight games before Jonas Hiller played and lost on Tuesday. Coach Randy Carlyle is going with the "win and you're in" philosophy so look for Giguere to get the call in goal. Giguere has played much better of late, as he won three games last week, so he is a nice waiver wire pickup if you are in need of a goaltender.
Jeff Drouin-Deslauriers is the probable starting goalie for
Drouin-Deslauriers was pulled after giving up four first period goals on Saturday so coach Pat Quinn wants to give him a chance to redeem himself. "He's fighting himself," said Quinn. "He's a young man who doesn't feel good about how he played. Clearly he has a conscience because he wanted to take all of the blame. You don't want that. I like people who look in the mirror but you can't shoulder everything. He's got to stop thinking about that stuff and start thinking about getting on his game the way that he can play it." Drouin-Deslauriers has been the starter for the last six games, since the back injury to Nikolai Khabibulin. He is a good second netminder in deep pools at this time, at best.

would expect Peter Budaj in goal for the Avalanche @ Pittsburgh BUT no confirmation from the Colorado staff....
"The Avalanche made a minor move today that would seem to suggest starting goaltender Craig Anderson is not available. Colorado recalled goaltender Tyler Weiman from Lake Erie of the AHL.
Anderson was injured in last night's 6-5 shootout loss at Florida when he was struck in the head by Panthers defenseman/goalie hunter Keith Ballard. He was replaced by Peter Budaj.
Budaj would presumably get the start tonight. He is 1-1-1 this season with a 4.28 goals against average and .855 save percentage. He has never faced the Penguins.
The Avalanche did not hold a morning skate or have media availability today."

re: Budaj... the Denver Post says "With goaltender Craig Anderson considered out "day to day" with a neck injury suffered in overtime of Wednesday night's loss at Florida, the Avalanche today recalled Tyler Weiman from the Lake Erie Monsters and planned to suit him up as the backup goalie to Peter Budaj in tonight's game against the Pittsburgh Penguins.

Anyone know who's starting for LA tonight?
both LeftWingLock and DailyFaceoff project Jonathan Quick in goal for the Kings BUT nothing confirmed yet and I could find nothing in the LA media.
Quick the definate #1 and I would doubt that the Kings would use Ersberg @ home. he's only played two games, both on the road.
