This is the easy approach for the leafs to win the Stanley cup. It's the same thing they did with the chase the Argos and TFC

The Argos won the grey cup with a core of players that wanted to prove themselves. Those players were a key group of Americans that came from different levels of University in the United States and Canada.

 The jays won the World Series twice because they had a group of players that wanted to prove themselves. There were Latino's Americans a few Canadians and many guys were from Venezuela and Puerto Rico and so on.

 Toronto football Club wonMLS  because they had European players American players and a few guys from England who wanted to prove that they belong in MLS.

 The Toronto Raptors won the NBA with 2 African players one guy from America by the name of Leonard and a few other guys who wanted to show that they can prove themselves in the NBA

 The Toronto Maple leafs is too hooked on Canadian culture and content their main core consist of one American and 3 Canadians..

 The Detroit Red Wings the Las vegas and many other teams won with a core players that desperately wanted to prove themselves and prove that they belong.

 The leafs does not have a hungry core they need Russians yokoslavians and people from other levels of hockey in the Europe that  desperately want to show the belong in the NHL.

 So there you see they know what they have to do but they're too hooked on the cultural pattern and trends of the past they're not fully of aware of what they have to do now.

 My suggestion is they should remove 2 guys from the core and include a European player and 1other for their core.

Trust me this is the only winning formula
