Good luck brother - can't back SJ just yet, but like this spot historically (home team off long Roadie just happy to be back in their own bed, family etc. and unfocused first Home game), but I just don't like San Jose's chemistry.  They a B...  A...  D... Bad.

 Only betting because it’s the kings at a high price.  SJ is not going to win a lot so taking advantage of betting a big line against a medium or below team.

 Not at all - you understand line value.  When betting Money Lines, that is the most important variable.  No one will ever consistently predict the outcome of a game, but if you pick teams that are at a value price, then you just need to win a certain % of the games you bet (i.e. way less than 52.38% for -110).

SJ at +270 equals implied odds of 27%.  Sharks won 23% of their games last year, 27% in 22-23 and 39% in 21-22.  I think they have hit rock bottom, and are due to start winning more games this year than last.  Very few teams stay in the mid20th percentile range over time.  Plus, they have made improvements by adding some talent via Free Agency, and they have quite a few young players who will mature each year.  And they get a team off long road trip in a bad situational spot. 

IMO that makes them a good dog bet, and definitely not a foolish bet - that would be the person who bets -330 on LA Kings.  

Sharks are 9-1 ATS on the road as a dog after playing Ducks last 4 years.

it has not happened yet for the Sharks but the data loves these big lined teams.  11-10 in these situation at over 100 % ROI.  

I hate betting the Sharks like only a very few teams. The key for me is to balance to book the sharks wins will be at mostly big lines.

i know i bet dogs but i still wish you and all the very best.  I have to pick my spots situations and days to bet on.  Dogs are not easy.

46 dog wins with an ROI of -3.1%

both losers.  It’s easier to win on favorites that’s for sure.  It’s not easy to profit on either. 

Sharks the last 35 games when the line is >250

7-28 for 20% 

the league average is 25% over a long period of time.  As it sits currently the dog needs a few wins to even out the favorite and dog ROI to be even. I think it will happen but how many more losers in a row before the bottom is set.
