Since the 92 season where do I begin. hmmmm......
- 12  100 pt plus seasons out of the 15.
- 12 division titles.
-  5 Conference Championships
-  5 Stanley Cups Finals
MOST important stat of all
-  4 Stanley Cups in 15 years.

The thing is I would rather have 4 cups in that time frame. Cause the question is always WHAT HAVE YOU DONE FOR ME LATELY. Then a team winning 4 STRAIGHT YEARS in a row.

But we have people still trash talk this team saying that this team sucks, you have teams that haven't won a cup in 40 plus years but people bash the WINGS fucking priceless they are. Yeah good one. 

I don't think they will win it again but I hope they do to SHUT SOME PEOPLE UP.

Also with the addition of Hossa only makes this team better.

When they play defense like they can and should they will be tough to beat.

Yes I know I don't like Osgood but he has been here for all the Cup runs and can get the job done. 2 cups played and 2 cups he watched. He has gotten the job done before and can do it again.

btw puck, whats the deal with these LONG-signings?

11 years for an 29 y old franzen?

and if the wings had a good goalie, i'd say sweep. not because the jackets are that bad, but the experience will decide this one for sure.

The wings added Hossa....They didn't have him last year and they won...

Red Wings havent swept a 1st round in a while. even last year they needed 6 to beat the Preds, 6 the year before to oust the Flames

Columbus in 7 as a hunch but would not put a single dollar anywhere near this series as far as full series goes. I just think with the putrid netminding of the Wings and if Mason continues to do his thing for the Jackets an upset here is very possible. Will be watching to see how it unfolds before any moves made in game to game basis here. Is Brassard going to be back for this series at all? Any word?

Hope the wings take the first 2 games at home and then with Brassard returning for game 3 at home for added emotion in a  must win I would love the Jackets still at a decent enough price I am sure for the game.

They should have signed Hossa to a long term deal then worry about Dats.

I think the Jackets take it in 6. Teams coming off the Cup tpyically either don't make the playoffs or exit in the first round. It is so hard to get that intensity level back. I think the Jackets have the tools neccessary to knock out the red wings. They play them alot so they know what there all about, they play good defence and have great goaltending. I am expecting Commodore and the defence to step up huge in game #1 to take the pressure off the young tender and I think the Jackets take it in 6.

Red Wings will have a tough team to beat in the 1st round in the Jackets.  Not sure the Jackets actually have a chance at winning this series, but they should take all the games on their home ice.  I think this series goes the distance and Detroit is able to just squeak by Columbus in 7 games.

Red Wings win in 7

Columbus looks good so far but when the Wings get going in the zone its like a friggin shooting gallery

Like i said you have to beat the champs to be the champs and the Wings show us again how dangerous they are! They are showing Columbus how to play puck possession hockey. The Wings are the best at it. This team will not lose to Columbus it could be over in 5!

some of u guys in here must be high or just  lack hockey knowledge if u think ajckets have any chanc eiof winning 4 of next 6 games vs defending champs. be lucky to win 1 at home posisbly 2 but think wings in 5.
 
Other than polar bear  u  peeps on ajckets are idiots. LOL  at leats he is sane nuff not to  put money on jackets :)
 
to the nimrod stating wings worse team in sports.. lol  Keep smoking that weed and sipping that juice. They  have been the best hockey team since oilers in 80's! in the past 15 years sicne they made cup vs devils and got swept.
