What is going on with the Over and NHL right now?

I noticed this the past week or so too. Puck drop and it's 2-2. Odd anomalies in a long season I guess. Scoring goes up and down in any sport. Can't be straight unders every week. Amazing how many games followed that pattern. 

There's some absolutely horrendous goalies in the NHL. Logan Thompson isn't even close to being an NHL goalie. He's one of many.

I'll agree that there's some very bad goaltenders but Thompson isn't one of them.

In fact he's having the best season of his career.

He's let some goals in the past few games but that happens to everyone from time to time.

It’s streaky, and I know we are talking about lots of scoring lately, but you may see it tighten up down the stretch, as playoff slotting comes into sight.

As someone seeking Unders, streaky scoring hurts like hell. Your data sometimes lags behind what’s really happening, and on the other side, books obviously also react and sometimes they are behind the curve as well. For example I think there was a lot of low scoring games last month, which has eliminated a lot of 6’s at the books and way more 5.5’s….I would imagine some sharps have exploited. Maybe more 6’s after 4NC
