If Chrona starts, he gave up 7 vs Isles BUT....he only allowed Dallas 2. Something tells me Sens tt over might be a better bet. Guppies have allowed 4 or more in 8 of their last 10 games. Plus, no Hertl or Duke for Sharks (their #1 and #2 goal scorers). Just my opinion for what it is worth.

Good points, I'm always looking to see why I shouldn't bet a certain way. Definitely won't be a 3 unit play if it's a play at all. Maybe something live after seeing the flow of the game. I like the Sens tt over, might make the card.

I have cooled off in ALL my picks, including AHL. Did win with Preds earlier so I am only going one play at a time. AHL/NHL unpredictable imo right now. I usually look to the teams that have more to play for at this time of year. GL with your card tonight.

agreed, AND lay off the teams that look like an easy win with a potential playoff spot locked in.
Enjoy the golfing. I hit a few balls yesterday, the first time in over 10 years. I was a little suprised at how well I hit a few but not suprised at the couple wormburners. I have a messed up left shoulder, swing right handed. Been to rehab, feels ok today, a little sore. Any advice Doc? Should I just drink more and the pain will go away?

I do encourage drinking while playing...takes the mind out of the game. As far as the shoulder...hard to diagnosis on the internet. What did your physical therapist say? They should be able to give you ideas. Pain when above shoulder level? Can't sleep on the left side? Guessing your of my age (or slightly younger). Usually without a specific injury, I would be thinking something called shoulder impingement. Do you or have you performed repetative activities with that left shoulder? If it doesn't improve, go see an ortho. It could be something as an injection and medication.
It is golf season and my capping time has decreased significantly. I usually play/practice 5-6 days a week. I'll watch pucks but limit the betting.

I've seen a specialist, had an MRI, I don't recall the technical terms, but rehab was first option, then surgery could be a possibility if it didn't get better, or I just deal with it, which is what I'm doing, self medicating, I'm pretty good at it too. Can't sleep on the left side - bingo.I'm going on 55, I lift weights, treadmill and stationary bike every other day, I still do the recommended weighted motions for my shoulder during my workout. Stretch regularly. I no longer go to rehab, I "graduated". The worst pain I had was when riding my motorcyle and keeping the left arm on the bar for hours, it's better now when I ride, but sleeping still sucks. I wonder if bench pressing too much could be bad. When it hurts I back off. Same with curls, hurts the shoulder, biceps can handle more, but shoulder pain holds me back. I get it 100% you can't diagnose it, wondering if I'm doing more harm than good when I push it. The old saying no pain, no gain might be BS at my age.
Since I'm rambling, I wonder if any of you old(er) guys still lift? If so how much do you press now and what was your heaviest press in your lifetime? (don't lie). I top my BP pyramid out at 265lb and it hurts my fkn shoulder. I know I could do more, but worry about damaging it more rather than helping it get stronger.

Like you, 57 and still workout regularly, but...but..cut down considerably on the amount of weights and nothing above 90 degress of shoulder. At our age, the rotator cuff has wear and tear and is prone to tearing easier with motions above 90 degrees. Nothing wrong with lifting, just keep it below shoulder height, imo. When you lose strength or function or can't stand the pain, then go to the surgical side of things but only then.
So, we are both Rags fans for the evening. Let's go...Love what Florida is doing right now, but if Carolina can get steady goal tending, they are going to be a hard out in the playoffs.

Oh, biceps tendon attaches on the front of the shoulder and can mimic shoulder pain. If curls hurt, be cautious on the amount of weight that tendon can pop and you will wind up with a "popeye" biceps...

I've recently reduced my curl weight due to pain, down to 35lb dumbells @ 3-4 sets of 13-15 reps, with tri extensoins alternating between sets. I guess you really should listen to your body. I need to stay grounded when I lift, I push it too much, always have. Thanks Doc, enjoy the evening.
