Anybody else feel like taking a good number of dogs day in and day out is a viable strategy?

Had jackets, flyers, flames and senators tonight.
Pending the sens game already 3/4.

Just curious to what you guys take into account when it comes to handicapping a game as it is totally different from my usual nfl betting.

It goes in ebb and flows.  When dogs bark, they all howl together.  You have to pick your spots.  Dogs tend to bark on Tues and Fri nights.

There are undervalued and overvalued teams as well.  We saw an example last night.  Carolina = undervalued... Pittsburgh = overvalued.  Its public perception that the Penguins are a strong team, but really the only thing strong about them is the odour they give off.

VERY good point from DB. dogs run hot-cold BUT for some reason  seem to show up more on Fridays

For the record, dogs are 39-39 this season on Fridays. But since they're all plus money, the profit has been be $1,196 on $100 bets.

Monday: 22-37, -$853
Tuesday: 50-71, -$310
Wednesday: 31-24, +$1,554
Thursday: 38-63, -$1,206
Saturday: 63-86, -$432
Sunday: 20-38, -$954

So if you're going to bet dogs blindly solely based on days of the week, it looks like Wednesday and Friday are your days to do it.

And Wednesday just got better today with the Jackets, Flyers and Flames all winning. If the Sens pull out a win, it'll be a clean sweep for the doggies.

Good trend but not really good long term is it, how long is that really gna last on wed and fri, hope im wrong if anyone is actually gna dog em on wed and fri good info regardless

Was going to ask the same question but I think other factors like divisional/geographical rivalry,revenge,b2b games,recent goalie stats etc are more important in determining if a dog will win than what day of the week it is 
Wonder how many dogs win when its a full moon ?

Wow shocked to see that Wednesday number, I always felt the strangest results are fridays...

If you don't actually watch games night in and night out, how do you get the nerve to comment that dogs don't come in more on certain nights.  Avs +175 dog of the night hits.

I thought the Avs would be down a couple about mid 2nd and Roy would pull the goaltender for the entire 3rd period.
