Ya but that season was a fluke for the Habs. It was discussed to death but Montreal was 8-0 vs the Bruins that year which meant that the Bruins had a better record against the rest of the league as an 8th seed than the Habs who were #1!
Anything can happen but this isn't a 1 game winner takes all, the better team and the team that wants it more usually comes out on top in the best of 7.
i wouldn't say he's a choker, i'd say he isnt that great, sure he gets all these points in the regular season, but who wouldnt if they were sitting at the far blue line waiting for there teamates to pass the puck up, he's a floater and in playoff hockey that wont get you far. he was the same in the olympics, world juniors. im tired of everyone saying he's the best player in the world. crosby is a far more complete player, he does it all, he's a winner, a true leader and its not just about him. he does what ever it takes to win and if it takes back checking to do it then he does it not like ovechkin and go to the bench when there's a 3 on 2.

Last time i checked Canada has been a favourite to win almost every world junior tournament, and they were the favourites at the olympics were they not? Ovechkin has 40 points in 28 playoff games. I guess nobody remembers how well he played against the Pens in the 2nd round last year? Its a team game, you have nothing to back up your statement with.
No doubt the Penguins found away to break through Ottawa in game 6 on the road when they were down by 2 goals late in the game right their that took alot more effort then what Washington showed.
