No, actually soccer and lacrosse are two more sports that have only one point maximum per score potential.

it could be like foosball maybe 2 points if you score with your goalie!

or Maybe like football? once you score its worth 6 then a penalty shot for an extra point? and if you kick it in its not disallowed but its worth 3 pts instead

Who cares? Ice hockey is a cold weather game, a regional game, a small game, Canada is the only nation that craves ice hockey, hockey is more popular outside Canada when it is referred as an game played on the grass.
