OK so we have a total of 36 player predictions.  Eight different teams were picked to win the Super Bowl, as follows:

Buffalo 1
Chicago 1
Dallas 2
Green Bay 4
Kansas City 14
New England 10
New Orleans 3
Seattle 1

The LA Rams and Philadelphia were also picked to appear as losers only.  Player predictions will advance through the following qualifiers:

1. Pick the winning and losing team.  If nobody picks both the winner and loser:

2. Pick the winning team only.  If nobody picks the winning team:

3. Pick the losing team only.  If nobody picks the losing team:

4. Pick any team to appear in the game, win or lose.  This will only apply to players who have LAR and PHI, as all other teams were picked as both winners and losers.  If nobody picks any team to appear in the game:

5. Pick the winning conference (AFC / NFC).  There are 25 AFC winners and 11 NFC winners.

Depending on how the above qualifiers play out, here are the tiebreaking scenarios regarding final score:

1. Closest predicted margin of victory without exceeding the final game score margin of victory.  If players are still tied:

2. Closest predicted game score total without exceeding the final game score total.  If players are still tied:

3. Tied player with the best overall win percentage for the entire season.

That's it.  I will post updates as we move through the season and provide a concise breakdown of live player predictions once the matchup is determined.

Here's where things stand as we move into the playoffs:

18 players still have two live teams, and 18 players only have one.  There are a total of five teams in the playoffs that were not predicted, as follows:

Minnesota

San Francisco

(vs)

Baltimore

Houston

Tennessee

Which means that if we have a Super Bowl matchup between any combination of the above teams, everybody gets back in the mix and the winner will be decided by winning conference and final score tiebreakers.

New England and Buffalo bow out in the wild card round - 

Nine players have two live teams.  Nineteen players have one live team.  Eight players have no live teams and are out of contention unless we get a Baltimore / Tennessee / Houston vs San Francisco / Minnesota Super Bowl.
