13 Run pool

Okay so far 6 interested here. I would like to fill this up and then get it going without a last minute rush.

Also would like your input about the dollar amount and anything else you all have on your mind.

Can I get a definition of the '13 Run Pool' please? I'm not sure I understand..

Still need more interest. I could get enough players with people I know, but would really prefer to keep it between covers members.

Thats the 100 dollar question..4 returning starters should be alot better than this..Kerush being hurt is guess is huge..Did you go to WKU? Were in Ky do you live?

topperchris, I did go to WKU and now live in Owensboro.  Graduated with a degree in economics and work as a loan officer now.  WKU I thought would be a borderline top 25 team this year, only losing Mendez-Valdez.

so if there's 30 people, do we each pick 1 team and we have that team all season or we pick different teams every day?

who would hold on to the money?

Just throwing out a couple of ideas. We make it $100 total. $50 before the season and $50 at the all star break. I will draw teams assigned to each person or 2 teams if not enough players. I will be done randomly out of a hat or box.

I can collect and hold the money or talk to Scotty at Betjam about collecting and holding it via deposits. I think they may be willing to add something to our pool as well. The only drawback to that would be ant winnings will need to be deposited to the winners Betjam account.

I think at the All Star break teams should be re-drawn randomly again so those that believe they don't have a good offensive team (but you would be surprised) will have a shot at a different team.

At the A.S. break we take the money in the pool and split it among every player having a team that scored 13 runs exactly in a game the first half of the season. If no team scored 13 it rolls over to the 2nd half along with the $50 per for the 2nd half. If nobody wins in the 2nd half, everyone receives a refund of their entry fee.

I have a few in bag new football jerseys of A Peterson Pro bowl, Brett Favre Packers and a few more and I would be willing to add them and see if we can get anything else added to pay out as a bonus if a team scores a different total such as 11, 17, 21. Along those lines.
