The original spread for this game was the women's China basketball team minus the high teens, closing at -20 before tip off. As a general rule for sports betting, I'm not a fan of laying MORE points than the original spread. If I missed it, I missed it. There will always be other betting opportunities in the future. Then again, as with any sports scenario, "it just depends." I "felt" that China was going to blow them out in the 2nd half due to the higher spread of -36/37.5 at the half which would entice bettors to take the points.
