Very disappointed that Pinny has no lines up, so we will have to be more selective with the site that is offering this.
I know there aren't many curling followers, we had a great run last year, between the Scotties, the Brier and the Worlds, capped off by nailing China and Scotlnad in future bets to win their resepective world championships.
Hoping to get to 40 units in the Scotties,
Draw 1 +2 Ontario/Saskatchewan parlay 6.25 units to win 5.
Nova Scotia to win vs Que 1 unit to win 1.75
Draw 2 N.B./N.S. parlay 1 unit to win 2
Canada over Manitoba 4 units to win 2.
Good luck.

Not as much a "follower" of Curling but I do love getting stoned and watching! Pretty sure every g/f I've ever had has thought I was crazy for watching but I've always enjoyed Olympic curling. Betting on it just makes it that much more entertaining, would be nice to grind out some kind of profit this Olympics

Scotties tourney is being played in my home town this year! A real shame Pinny hasn't got lines up. If I go to watch curling, you can bet I want to have some action (and, believe it or not, some of these curling gals ain't too bad to look at either )
Where you betting the games?

For the early afternoon games, I think Manitoba at -140 is a short price to pay, so I am going 5.6 to win 4 units on them and two units on NB at +175 vs BC.

Ouch, Manitoba 2 up coming home and a chance to sink one on the pot to pretty much ice the game and she is light and doesn't even have to make PEI throw the last rock. Brutal afternoon.
Alberta +110 vs Que 3 units
B.C. +125 vs Ont 1.5 units
Canada and Sask parlay 2,5 units even money.

I was going to ask someone if they had any Hemlock during last nights late draw as the day was a total disaster. I was even today during the day games and then hit a big play on Ontario tonight. I would never lay a -170 line in any sport at any time, but I did tonight as I just felt that PEI had been quite fortunate in their competition so far and that Ontario is probably the best team in this tournament. Yes, I do think McCarville can take Jennifer Jones.
I realize with these terrible lines and no totals, I will have to pick my spots a little better over the week and not be so aggresive in my selections.
Some random thoughts.
The girl for PEI that calls the game bares a striking resemblance to Ronnie Wood. The lead on the other hand......., well, just have a peak for yourself when you get a hold of those lips and get back to me.
For the Olympics, in looking at the early lines, here is my thoughts.
For the Men's, there is no doubt from a skill level Martin is the best team in the field. I have no interest in laying -143 with him, although this is probably still a good bet. I will for sure be taking Great Britain at +450. David has good success against Martin and as such, how do you pass that up?
Women's curling. I think there is some great long shots to consider and will ponder this further. Sweden, USA, and Great Britain all have some good value. Need to dive into this a little further.

This morning like one play Holland +110 vs Scott, for 1 unit. Holland is 5-2 vs Scott in her career and is a must win. At plus money it is worth a shot.
Noon draw I am on New Brunswick 3 units at -150 ,vs Nova Scotia. N.S. is the worst team in this tournament.

That will teach me for making a bet before I have had a coffee. I thought NB was playing Nova Scotia not New Foundland, had I known it was the latter, I would not have place the bet. Good lesson learned.
Tonights plays.
Our young squad from Alberta is in a free fall, so I will go with 1.5 units on NB for even money.
PEI plus +162 vs Canada for 1 unit. I don't think they will win, but that is too much value to pass up.
Big play for the night is BC and Manitoba parlay over NS and NWT respectively. One more loss could cook Scott, so I think they will handle the bottom feeders just fine and hopefully Manitoba can keep playing like they have and defeat the Territories.

Thought it was worth the shot Rockstar but you were right not even close. Came home tonight and was stunned to see they had no lines up. Will be back in the morning for any tie breakers and playoff predictions.
Rod, get back to you soon on that hockey question.

Ont -190 vs Manitoba. I still firmly believe that Ontario is as good as anyone in this tourney, so I will be taking them today. Manitoba has been a scrappy squad and I think they have done a great job of playing to their full abilities. My concern is Thurston does some times still have a tendancy to miss the odd easy one and those easy misses, can be magnified when you get to the playoffs.
For those that have a higher threshold for juice than I do, I would bet this game straight. Saying this, I can't.....so I have parlayed it with Team Canada tonight, vs PEI at -160. Canada lost to PEI in the round robin, mainly caused by one bad end late in the game. I give full kudos to the PEI squad, for young girls they play well, but I think their run comes to an end. -160 for the defending two time Champ is a short price to pay.
6 units to win 8.8.

Another successful day yesterday as Ontario hammers Manitoba and Canada beats PEI. PEI played well, and were very unlucky, just grazing a number of guards. It was nice to be on the right side of the inch last night.
Ontario -150 vs BC 5.25 units to win 3.5. Ontario in my opinion is the best team here so I will keep riding them.

Good win by Ontario this afternoon to push our win streak along. Tonight on to PEI, I hate laying this type of juice but Ontario is in such a zone, I will have to drink it and lay it on Ontario. I expect this to be a close game again. Ontario -200 8 units to win 4.

As I have it I am sitting at about -1 unit for the week, after last nights game. Dumb move on my part, to lay -200 vs a good team, especially when they don't have the hammer in the first end. Ontario skip was off and PEI continues to play well and look very loose in doing so.
Final today, I can get PEI at +160, so I am all over that. I have maxed it out for a 10 units to win 16 play. I think this game is 50/50, so I have to hit this hard. Both games between these two have been extremely competitive and to me the Jones squad just doesn't seem quite as dominating as they have in years past. Maybe it is a little hangover from not winning the trials. I think if the PEI front end can match the Canada front end, we will have a great chance.
See you during the Olympics.

That one stung. It was like a movie that you knew how the ending was going to play out, but you just couldn't take your eyes off the screen. Time and time again, I watch teams collapse against Jones and she to her credit makes the big shot to win. Up 3 looking good and once the steal of 2 came I knew we were in big trouble.
On the bright side for PEI those girls are terrific (to look at also) and this run they had will bode well for their future. Off to scouting the Olympics now, see you soon.
