an 8 goal win for the Lions who struggle to score goals once they have a 3 or 4 goal break seems too high doesn't it? I mean the Suns have talent and enough quality players to at least keep this game a very close match right until the final siren. They really pushed the Demons for 3 quarters before fatigue got them in the 4th and they did beat the Power who themselves would be in poorer form than the Brisbane Lions. There has been a bit of talking going on all week from both clubs and as the experts have said, if it does indeed get physical you would surely have to back in the more experienced Lions team right? I really, really want to put my money on the Suns +49.5 but Brisbane have been a very competitive team all season long and almost pinched a thriller last week against the Tigers. Sometimes the ladder does not accurately judge a teams form as the Lions could be 2-3 going into tonights match. I can see the Suns hanging in there again but the Brisbane Lions are going to win this game by 72 points to get their 1st win on the board and to also take the bragging rights between the two Queenslanders. Ablett will get his typical 35 touches but just as he did at Geelong, most will be meaningless and across the back half of the ground. Suns have been average at best and the once-mighty Brisbane Lions would find it to be an insult that the media thinks this game will be close.
