My boys the Newcastle jets play the Queensland Roar at Suncorp tonight and at $3.40 provide some value I think. Granted the Jets have been in an offensive slump of late, and no doubt need to bring someone into the final third if they are to challenge for the title, but they have still been creating chances.
Da'Appuzzo should come in as a straight swap for the suspended Laybutt, and that isn't a bad thing as he has a more attacking instinct. The leagues biggest joke, $10,000 a week man Mario Jardel actually showed some good form last week an one could assume could only be better for the run.
The Roar have been playing well, but will miss Craig Moore this week.
Add to this the fact that the Jets have never left Suncorp without all three points, and in fact have never conceded a goal at the ground. I'm not a big one for trends, but found this interesting nonetheless.
