Blake had to go. If Geelong were any chance of winning this Grand Final, they needed to drop Blake.
I think Geelong will blow Port away personally. Best team all year and Port should not be here. Let's all remember they only managed to beat a West Coast team full of injuries. If they didn't beat West Coast, they wouldn't be preparing for a Grand Final. Flogging the Kangaroos is no big feat. Kangaroos were not a good match up for Port.
It wouldn't surprise me to see Geelong win this Grand Final by more than 5 goals. Creeping up to 7 - 8 goals. Their hit out last week helped get the rust away. Best team all year will not fall when it matters.
Geelong remind me of Brisbane of 2001 and we all know what Brisbane did to the more experienced Bombers team.
Geelong may struggle at first, but come the second half, they will blow the game wide open.
Port shouldn't be here. They managed to get over a team full of injured Eagles, just.
Geelong will do what Brisbane did in 2001 or 2003. Blow the game away when it matters. By how much is another story.
Geelong to win @ $1.40
Geelong -17.5 @ $1.91 - HUGE PLAY
Geelong 40+ @ $3.55 - HUGE PLAY
Geelong 60+ @ $6.75 - they may not make it this far, but if they are thrashing them by 3/4 time, then they will go on with it.
Norm Smith Medal - Small plays
Chapman @ $13 Milburn @ $29

Agree about Blake and King, King the better choice. He in decent form, struggled with injuries in recent years but he can stand up to Lade/Brogran no problems.
Go Cats

Yep, Cats to take home the premiership. Best team all year. To falter now at the final hurdle will break them and they won't win a flag for quite awhile if they don't get this one.

Admittedly, the only thing that is worrying me is Geelong's huge ability to choke.

It's alright to have a team of champions, but if they can't perform when it matters, then there's no point.
Some of their players last week didn't perform. It could have been rust. But if this team don't win the flag this year, then they need to get rid of some of their players regardless of if they're all australian or not to have a chance at winning the flag in the future.
It's a big stage. Ablett, Bartel and the likes are class. But if they can't perform in a big game when it matters, then they're not finals players. Your reputation is made in a Grand Final. If these players are really as good as everyone thinks, then they need to put in a solid performance and take this flag home. To fail here and then there will be question marks raised over them.
You may have been the best team all year. But if you can't perform when it matters, then you're not a good team and are not class. If Geelong don't win this flag after the year they have had, then this year is a waste of time for them and they are a nothing team with no future and they need to look at the coaching staff and personnel to address the problem.

Port got rid of some of their players after they couldn't perform in finals and got a premiership. If Geelong don't win, they need to do the same or they will continue to lose Grand Finals if they make it.

well, this might be a replay of Geelong v Col, it should be a tough epic match, we wont see crapy D here. Under makes more sense to me, but the total line is abit low

Bookies stunned by huge plunge on Port 29 September 2007 Herald Sun Adam Hamilton and Michael Manley
PORT Adelaide has been backed to win more than $5 million in one of the biggest Grand Final plunges in recent history.
Port was as much as $3.75 when markets opened on Sunday, but an avalanche of money had crunched its price into $2.65 with TAB Sportsbet last night.
Statistics on Footy Form show the three times a South Australian team had won the Grand Final, it started the outsider.
The winners and odds were: Adelaide (1997, $3.40); Adelaide (1998, $2.62); and Port Adelaide (2004, $2.65).
"We're stunned in here. We didn't see this sort of plunge coming," TAB's Gary Davies said.
"You would always expect most of your money to come for the favourites, especially when they're as short as the Cats, but it's been totally upside down here.
"More than 60 per cent of the money we're holding is on Port."
