Think this is a few points too high. Saints have not been particularly impressive in first too rounds, although i thought they showed alot of potential in the NAB cup final beating Adelaide in Adelaide.
If you look back to the end of the 2006 season dogs were considered likely to be a force in 2007 (and Geelong were a hopeless joke that needed to sack the coach asap. Melbourne made it to the second round of the finals beating St Kilda in the first and were fairly competitive against West Coast away. Wikpideia lists Melbournes best players in this game as McLean, Neitz, Bruce, Green, McDonald, White, Carroll and goal scorers as 4: Neitz, 2: McLean, 1: Miller, McDonald, Bruce, Robertson, Pickett, Bate, Yze, Pickett being the only one not currently on the list https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2006_AFL_Finals_Series).
What is the point? I tend to believe that expectations are too based on last season and that some teams that had a poor 2007 are being underestimated).
