under backers looking good right now
something tells me Essendon is gonna come out firing after halftime though. That's probably good news for the under as we need a couple more of these momentum shifts during the game to keep the total one sided and low

anyone else buying into this Collingwood's bubble has now burst and the Blues can smell blood? I am really thinking of taking Collingwood -39.5 today, I just don't believe Carlton are a team that adjusts well to their gamestyle and Collingwood will likely rally together and decide to put in a full four quarters of intensity against an opponent who themselves are injury ravaged today. Judd's impact becomes neutral because of Ball's inside work and Murphy although excellent, isn't quite in the same class as Pendlebury and Thomas just yet. Kreuzer could be the key because he should be able to run off Jolly who's really slowed down in recent years and if he can influence the centre square could just keep em to within 4 or 5 goals...it's either Collingwood -39 or no play for me

wow! Sorry if anyone followed my stupid Tigers and Collingwood plays
Collingwood looked very flat yet always seem to have the game under raps. I can't work out Carlton, they have no tall targets forward and it's probably the reason why they will fail in September. You just can't ignore the fact that a quality tall forward will always create problems and Judd although highly publicised and gets all the accolades...simply does not kick enough goals nor take enough contested marks. I mean Hird use to do what he does in the middle of the ground then he'd go forward and change the game.
Tigers, well......................they can't wait too long before becoming a top 4 team because the likes of Geelong, Sydney, Hawthorn and Bulldogs are already rebuilding for the future and they may again find themselves on the outer once again.
