----- The Swans and Bulldogs are both desperate for a win as both teams clamour to stay in touch with the top eight but i think the swans will take this one in a very tight contest. its sydneys 2nd consecutive game at the SCG and although they also played sunday as did the dogs, the dogs played the afternoon game and have to deal with the travel to a ground where they historically dont play well at. i heard a stat yesterday (but it may be off slightly) that dogs had only won 1 of their last 7 at the SCG!? recent weeks suggests that these 2 teams look as if they are going in opposite directions ATM with WB winning 4 of their last 5 and sydney only 1 of 5. but the dogs victories have come against 'easier' competition IMO (crows, suns, demons & blues)blues being the only acception. swans on the other hand have been beaten by (blues, pies (by 1 goal only), crows & dockers). i realise they did lose to the crows but i dont think anyone who watched the game could actually explain what happened to them after half time??? making top 8 is huge for the swannies and i dont think big bad barrys last gm @ the SCG will deter them from their greater picture.SWANS by 6
----- Once again im picking the team here whos form would suggest they should be the undedogs in comparison to the opponents they are facing. but im under full belief that bombers for season 2011 are pretenders and could very well still miss the 8. plus this is a MUST WIN for judd and his troops an absolute MUST WIN!!! the blues havent been impressive lately but i personally believe they played well last week more then pies played bad. blues have a tendency to really lift it for the big teams and although bombers list may not have the stature of that of geelong, collingwood and the hawks, the blues v bombers is a masterpiece in itself. these teams HATE eachother and blues will come out fired up (as will essendon) so i am putting my money with the team that i believe has the better list. surely it's coincidence the Swans losing when it rains down? I was gonna back them pretty heavily as I saw that game as a genuine certainty against a team I still see as having a few deficiencies in ruck and the reliance of another forward other than Hall. Gotta admit though that their midfield is better and they have got the better backline too so perhaps it is a flip of the coin match

yeah but did uu see the footy they played in the wet v dockers? thats why i was so confused bout the adelaide game cause i didnt really think they struggled so badly
and geelong- personally i see wet weather more of a struggle for the dogs. only casue their home ground is etihad where the roof is closed 85% of the time. and yeah the dogs wining games havent been overly impressive. swannies to bounce bag in a big way

I didn't watch the Adelaide. Listened to it though. I'm not sure what the record H2H with the Doggies is. Just check that first. As always mate GL. I'm not playing on that game........ i'll just be watching hoping that Barry Hall gets boo'ed

Hoping Pies are feeling hospitable at Metricon and for some reason won't totally obliterate the Suns. Thinking Ess/Blues tonight should be decided by within 4 goals - seems you agree in your analysis - let's hope we can both have a win tonight !
Took Magpies Qtr Time Line -18.5 - I see Pies coming out hard and then coasting somewhat.. ( At least I hope! )
And in something totally unrelated I took West Tiger into WALLABIES @ 1.91
GOAUS!
And BOL to all of us ! Looking forward to different contributions.
