Just the three bets at the moment

A treble of Kangaroos/Port Adelaide/Collingwood @ $2.38

Bulldogs to beat Fremantle @ $1.93

Hawthorn to beat Geelong @ $2.90

When the line is released the bet of the week is Hawthorn +.

Haven't looked into the Round One games yet as I am still swimming in March Madness, 6Nations, S14, and NRL.  Hahaha...

Why are the Bulldogs at about evens with the Dockers?

I haven't looked at venues, etc., but that seems odd....

Don't like Hawthorn

reasons ...... Geelong have had their star players firing for the past month

Hawthorn are hung over from their premiership ..... and still haven't gotten out of second gear with their pre-season training yet ..... with quite a few 1st team players getting over injuries over the pre-season ..... and starting late their pre-season ....... Geelong over 15.5 points to me is a special ....... but good luck everyone has thier opinions !!

Kangaroos will be too strong for Melbourne. Collingwood are going to make top 3 this year. Adelaide has had an interupted pre-season especially offfield and Port Adelaide own Essendon.

Bulldogs away should flog fremantle who are notorious shithouse starters to the season and a shithouse team.

It's too early to place bets, wait until at least you have a few team lists... I know you are excited but IMO best wait until real information is about.  As for Collingwood making top 3, there is no way they make the top 2 so you are basically saying the are the best of the rest?  I think they are a chance but wouldn't be so sure about it mate...

Havn't placed any bets yet. I always like to wait till the team news but those bets are 95% placed. I am waiting on that line in the Hawks game before I do anything anyway.

And yes, I believe Collingwood are the best of the rest.

I would agree mostly on your top 8 but I think Geelong will be on top again and I think port adelaide will find a way in this year, could be at the expense of any of the bottom 4 teams there in your top 8.

I agree with Gman please don't place bets on any games until you have the team lists. Even then wait till the extended list has been cut. In some cases this might not be until just before the game but there are going to be a lot of inclusions on the extended list who are senior players but don't get a go in that first game or have limited game time. If you follow the DT forums / podcasts you will know I am especially talking about the Happy Hawks and Collingwoodenspooners.

Leaned Carlton all week but now I think I actually like the Tigers, what with all that Fevvy injury will-he, won't-he garbage, Cousins fired up and the four debuts for the Blues.

I think the Richmond middies might be too strong, controlling the force of play and the rucks.

Value in Richmond tonight people?

i agree with gmanea that port are a decent shot to make the 8. last season they massively underachieved mainly in my opinion due to 07 GF demons.

there home draw only has them playing hawthorn, st kilda and carlton of expected top 8 sides. extra game with crows at aami, neutral game with bulldogs in darwin.

take out last season and there home and away record is secon to none over the past few seasons.


kangaroos get written off at the start of every seaon then suprise everyone. i don't see it happening this year.


geelong look hungry after losing the GF they are my team to beat.


I like Carlton and thought about backing them for top 4 at $3.25 but i reckon their draw is too tough and no value in backing them for top 8 IMO.

Adelaides home games start with St Kilda, Geelong, Port, WB, Carlton and Hawthorn pretty much my top six teams can't see them winning too many of these.

Port to make the 8 $2
Adelaide to miss top 8 $1.55

Nice Bin, like both futures but mostly think you are def on the money with the Crows bet....maybe that's why it's only paying $1.55.  All the talk over here is about their youth and the usual crap with Craig.  Not sure when it is, but one day they will wake up and see that he isn't the right man for the job, only problem is that there isn't anyone else out there to replace him that would do a 'better' job IMO.
 
Craig would be a very good assistant, but the powers to be at Crow Land are still got their head in the sand. Very strong opinion, but one day it will happen that he will be considered to be an unsuccessful AFL coach.

i agree craig has been poor, although several rungs above robert shaw IMO.

with burton out and porplyzia injury prone they are way short on quality players for mine.

After seeing ecoute's call of port to make the top 4 i checked the odds and found $6.50 which i took for a unit.

its great footy is bak.  good luck mate, i like ur tips.  though i think freo will have a chance as the weather is going to be mid 30's on sunday.  as a dees supporter i hope the demons can show something this round compare to last year rd 1 when the hawks won by 20 goals and franklin ran wild. lol
