Hey guys,
 
does anyone have an over/under total points for the St Kilda/Freo match at their book yet. Im really loving the under in this game with 2 stars dropped for not making enough tackles and maning up in defense. Thoughts???

That's ridiculous.  1.43.  And they opened as dogs!  Books need to readjust the point spread unless they think the Saints will handle them.  Silly.

The lions have 2 more injuries (late withdrawls Johnstone and The Sherminator). Strong case for the crows, although I don't think I'll back them.

I think its ridiculous too. I think it'll be a very close game, saints will come out ready to breathe fire. I like my 1st quarter bet as much, if not more now.

Gun to my head, I'd take which ever team had plus points for the game result.

Don't know if anybody saw AFL Teams last night but on it they talked about the brownlow. Showing Champion Data stats. Last year they predicted the winner (Bartel) and were within one vote of his final total.
 
Champion Data has released stats for how many votes they should have up to this point of the season. They calculated Ablett to have 20 votes already! Which would be almost impossible to beat. Ablett's odds currently are $2.50

In my time looking at the odds and punting of AFl or any sport for that matter I have never seen a plus get that low before $1.65. This is a first.

Tozer I have a question though. Respecting Champion data and stats. The brownlow is based on points awarded by the umpires right ?

Of course, don't you think there is a relation between amount of stats a player gets in a game versus an umpires view of who is most dominant in a game?
