well round 2 proved to be a very tricky round to tip and who could have believed the Dees nearly beating a so called 'premiership favourite' but onto the last game of the round and it's shaping up to be a beauty.
First of all I am a one eyed Geelong supporter and know this team like the back of my hand but when it comes to gambling with my own money I always study and keep my heart out of the equation. The Hawks welcome back a string of their very best players in Franklin, Rioli and Bateman. Geelong will take the same side from last week into this game.
I'm expecting a very physical encounter and there may even be a report in this clash as both teams do not like each other at all. Ever since losing the 2008 grand final Geelong have gone on to win every match between these two great sides and the last match was decided by a single point courtesy to Jimmy Bartel. Scarlett is clearly not fit as he was one of the players the Geelong fitness staff instructed him to lay off in the pre season and start later so he can be fit for the finals in 2010 so I can see Franklin running him around and they may even go with Harry Taylor on buddy. I think Franklin will end up kicking over 4 goals and Roughhead will also have a big impact on the match. The midfiled is in Geelong's favor and this may be where the game is won. I thought last week Geelong looked underdone and I doubt against a better team they will improve from then to have as much impact as they did in the 4th quarter against the Bombers. I just feel that Hawthorn have no matchup for Steve Johnson and he will prove to be the match winner in this game and boot over 5 goals. The Hawks are excellent but the Cats will win this game in the end by 17 points.
Tip - Geelong under 39.5 points @ $2.30

geez what a great win by the Cats yet again. This team seriously has to be one of the greatest of all time. Still did it without Milburn, Rooke, Stokes and Varcoe.

Good point mate.
I'm not a fan of centrebet. It would have to be a big spender who would need approval and if they need approval they would be getting different (you could argue better) odds to joe public.
BUT it is not that because as I mentioned a serious punter would have looked for a better total which could be gotten at the TAB. I don't know what the overseas books had but some times they better lines than the TAB as well.
ps. Can you believe these monkeys listed on the ASX.
pps. Would it be cynical to say that the comment was related to the listing on the ASX in trying to drive the share price up ?
