Going to pass on the Friday night game, initial leans were towards St.Kilda but with Lloyd back in I think it balances it up a bit more and the line is probably about right. Let's leave that game on the board.

I'd bet Saints/Essendon OVER the total or nothing. Saints though are strugglers with kicking goals though. Nick used to be good, but now sucks, and that hurts the offense imo. Saints should be so much more of an offensive team than what they are at the moment.

I agree Saints should be more of an offensive team with their firepower, but I don't agree that Nick sucks... he is just playing too far up the ground.

Same thoughs here. Ross Lyons criticised the team and suggested forward changes. Directly targetted at Gherig. I would not be suprised to see the Saints goo direct to their talls. The only thing about the over however is whether the Saints will slow the play at the end of each quarter which effectively wastes 8-12 or possibly 3-4 goals. Other considerations against the OVER is Flecther and Michael who have been solid for the Dons.

We needed, or I need, 2 more points at -18.5. Dang....too close. Got back and then some with the stronger Hawthorn play though. Very fortunate to get through that wreckage intact. I leaned the Roos, but stayed off, and it looked like that was a crazy match as well?!

Adelaide winning by 17 (-17.5) was a disappointing 1/2 pt loss on the
hook, I hope you found a better line. There were a few better lines
available but I release and grade my selections usually at the most
commonly available line. Can't win them all :( sigh.
Anyhow, I thought long and hard about the following game and have decided to go with it.
Port Adelaide -4.5 Port are desperate for their first win of the season and are a much
better side than their record would indicate. It's no secret the
Eagles midfield is suffering but even the inclusion of Embley and
Fletcher will not be enough to help them here. Port Adelaide have a
good track record against the eagles and should have the stronger team
on the field. Port Adelaide were great last week against the Lions for
nearly 3/4 of the game before fading out, I think they will use that
for motivation this week to make sure they get the win.
The other two games I don't feel too strongly about so will not force anything, hopefully settling for a 1-1 round.

Found an interesting site by accident the other day that lets you determine who will play on who and their effectiveness in terms of DT points. I'll look for it again and post the link......... and try it next round
