So me and my friends were watching the Olympics last night and with all the world records being broke this year, we started discussing if it's the athletes, or the new age technology to train.
Obviously, technology helps a lot. Athletes now know more about nutrition, to have a healthier, stronger body. I was also watching a cyclist competition and heard that the jersey thing they wear now cost upwards of $4,000. Apparently it's a special type of spandex.
If the prior athletes had these advantages, would they have set the records higher, or is this day and age of athletes just superb to the athletes of older days?
