Jive, you promised to get rid of Capper yesterday. What happened mate?
maybe they'll call on Tendulkar to testify for Gam-beer, like he did for Harbajan in Australia.
Nobody dares question the word of the little "pot bellied golden Buddha" , lest the series be held to ransom.

and in a morbid kinda way I hope Australia gets rolled in this series because it may finally jolt a few of these ACB crocodiles out of their slumber.
I think Australia's loss in England in 05' exposed some glaring weaknessess that haven't yet been addressed.
For example, we STILL don't have any bowlers who can keep the seam upright and move the ball through the air, conventional or reverse !

Please don't get me started on this.....
The ICC should have invoked clause 2.4 of the CoC, which deals with "inappropriate and deliberate physical contact between players". Instead he was cited for the lesser charge of not playing within the "spirit of the game". I have no doubt that the Indian Cricket Board were straight on the blower, because had he been charged with the former, as he should have, it would have automatically been upgraded to a level 3 offence due to a previous pitch collision wiht the Paki's, and would have been banned for between two and four tests.
Shameful, disgraceful and gutless again from the ICC.

Cameron White was picked as the first choice spinner in this game. On the first day he bowled 4 overs. Ponting should have thrown him the ball and let him bowl 25, and when he was pasted from pillar to post and the selectors asked what Ponting was doing, he could have said that he played a first choice spinner the way he thought a first choice spinner should be played. He could then have said 'now fuck off and find me a spinner'.

precisely.
what is Cameron White's purpose in this lineup? He's not going to win you a test match with the ball, he's not even going to so much as trouble any batsman worth his salt at test level, and he bats at no. 8 ! in a word , P-A-S-S-E-N-G-E-R
Unfortunately though Ponting is a competitive little beast who wants to win so he slots White into his limited role and away we go.
Alarm bells are well and truly ringing when it comes to bowlers in this country. Ok, we're going to have to settle for a step-down in the spin dept, possibly forever, because Shane Warne was just a once in a lifetime individual. But the dearth of talent in the pace bowling ranks around Australia is scarey.
We'll probably be able to muscle our way to series wins at home because that "back of a length, six inches outside off stump" works on our bouncey decks. But our bowlers lack the skill and versatility of those in other countries.
It's funny, we don't seem to hear a lot about up and comers in Aussie cricket nowadays.

"THE vagaries of the ICC code of conduct appeals process may leave Indian opener Gautam Gambhir free to play in next week's final Test against Australia in Nagpur despite a one-Test ban for elbowing Shane Watson. "
Is anybody surprised? Hope he plays. When we win 4th Test they can't say we didn't have GingerBeer. Our best batter.
Hussey gone. Piss of Sehwag.
Jive, What!!! No Capper in those tight swan pants.
