for the true degenerates........
hardly knew anything about this sport till this week. essentially field hockey on ice with two 45 minute halves.
the so-called "world championships" are going on in moscow right now. pool a is playing for the title. pool b is relegated teams.
something like that.....
it looks like russia and sweden are the cream of the crop with some big victories (17-1).
pinnacle has offered some big big spreads on game not including those two countries and the dogs have covered quite a bit. i'm proud to say i've made a couple grand on a sport i know nothing about.
i've just put 500 on the usa (very good b team) to beat mongolia by 8.5 goals.
the last game today looks really interesting as well......russia -19 vs. belarus.
belarus covered for me twice this week versus norway & kazakhstan. i think they were both +8.5.
i honestly can't imagine russia winning by 20 goals. the most anyone has scored at this tourney is 17 and russia has given up goals in every game as well.
i am certainly leaning to the cover.
but...who knows...as i write this, the usa is up 5-0 after 15 minutes. they could win 20-0.
anyone else wagering on this stuff????????
