 For the first time in New Zealand's sorry history in Australian football, this side isn't just making up the numbers. They are, dare I say it, the in form team of the competition, whereas Adelaide's form has been scratchy at best.

i swear i didn't look at the score until AFTER I wrote that. I thought it was still 2-1 Adelaide

I think it's best for all involved if we don't talk about my A-League capping, for which I won't be posting my record (I believe it is somewhere in the vicinity of 5-56-4) and instead focus on my solid NBL plays

Mate the score was merely an illustration of the canastasism that's sadly lacking in this competition and the fact that when it comes to betting the A league, I can't help but be think of that over-used uterige that "an empty tank is sometimes better than a broken leg"

hey you know what, I'd love for covers to put 'A' League on it's radar and try to come up with those lists of betting trends they do for NBA, NFL ect.

I think there'd be tumble weeds rolling across the screen !

i'm trying to figure out why the under is favoured so much?
TAB have the under at 1.60, terrible value but I'm trying to understand why?

The Jets defence has really tightened up in the past couple of months. They conceded 9 goals in their first 3 games, but in their last 10 they've let in only 12. North and A Griffiths are solid in the centre of defence.
 
The Jets won't score many without J Griffiths - their only goal last weekend come from an Adelaide mistake - and Sydney, despite the impressive names in their attacking third, haven't been able to buy a goal.
 
The Jets will target Musialik and try and limit his delivery to the front men, hence I see this one being a low scoring, tense type of game.
 
$1.60 is garbage for an under in A-League though
