Taking my kid to the game tonight. I hope the Spirit actually show some 'Spirit' tonight. They have been playing like crap lately.
 
Everyone make sure you watch the Fox Sports highlights for me running on court to punch out the coach........ and the dozen or so Kings fan that turn to the game with flag, shirtg and all

Funny shit,
The only "spirit" these fake Sydneysiders have been showing is the alcoholic variety. I hope the tickets are free because it is going to be brutal to watch. Long live the Kings.

Agreed Spirit shouldn't be laying that many pts to anyone but I like the over more.

I logged on at the half to see Cairns up by 11, and the line at +7.  As I don't have coverage I thought there must be a reason and only got on small.  Why were they given and 18 pt advantage heading into the 2nd when the line was only +8.5 before the match? Any ideas

gun, that line you saw was for the second half only.

so with cairns up by 11, the +7 you were looking at was essentially cairns -4 for the full game.

Thought you would have learned not to take Over's in the Dragon's games, that would be like taking the Over in Det games

Thanks JT.  I must admit, that's the first time my book has posted 2nd half lines in that manner, I knew a lot of the o/s books do it that way.

Well guys you are right Spirit are pitiful. Another low scoring bullshit game by the Spirit. Apart from the second quarter it was painful. Have already apologised to my backside for forcing it to sit through that shit display.


Just some points to mention;

1) I did not punch out the Spirit coach even though I was on the other side of the court and right in front of him.

2) Game tickets are now $10 for adults, $5 for kids....... used to be $45 for A reserve with the Kings.

3) Knight is slow lumbering piece of shit.

4) Cairns did not play well but was great watching Catellini in the second half get into it.

5) There were no more than 200-300 people there. Honestly more the 200 mark.

6) The coach apologised at the end of the game and encouraged everyone to come for the Valentine day game because it could be the last game for some time.

7) My kid is now bored of basketball.

BUT THE BEST

Someone threw a bottle of water on court at him which missed by about a metre and half.

^ the Blaze squad decided about six or so weeks ago that they preferred (and played better as a team) to get out and run and loosen up the very structured offensive that Brendan Joyce had them playing.
