haha, the stars will lose Maxwell, but Rob Quiney comes in...yep, this team is definitely under the salary cap, definitely.

Tim Paine apologises after threat of legal action from Eddie McGuire over salary cap cheat claims


TIM Paine has dramatically backed down from accusations the Melbourne Stars were cheating the Big Bash League salary cap.

The Hobart Hurricanes keeper made a meek public apology after his earlier claim that the Stars were playing under "another set of rules" drew a fierce reaction.


Paine, who told SEN last week there was "obviously a never-ending salary cap there that the Stars seem to run by", said his comments had been "a poorly chosen light-hearted remark".

Even with those nice odds, I still cannot see anything other than a Stars victory.

I really want to take Sixers tonight.

Mitch Marsh is WA's version of Sixers Henriques - thinks he can bowl and thinks he can bat. I've just got that bad feeling that his brother is going to smash a big score.

Smith and Henriques are massive losses...But the Sixers get Starc back, he is the Greg Inglis of cricket...Well, in a few years , he will be.
