Boxing Day Test: Australia v Sri Lanka

You reckon they give a f##ck? 3/4 of the test playing nations would love to see the death of test cricket. Mahela, Dilshan, Sanga dont give a f##ck. All what they want to do is fly around the world earn $$$ and play 2020. You hear all this talk of retiring etc etc, its already on their mind. They just want to play 2020.

The only nations who care about test cricket are Aus, SA and England.

India, Windies, Sri Lanka and Pakistan and NZ would love to see it just die.

This is the difference, one team cares and the other just doesnt.

TOss will be a huge factor tonight. It has been pissing down all day yesterday and night in Sydney yesterday and their are more showers predicted.

The pitch will be seamy and very tacky early on and bowling first will be huge.

Their are a few things that i dont understand in life and one of them is why Dominick Thornley is in the sixers test team.

Are the sixers saying that out of all of Australia, their isnt anyone else they can choose from other than a retired old washed up 30s player?

One thing i have noticed about the big bash league that is really strange is that teams havent bothered turning up.

Never did use to associate this attitude thing with cricket, you always acssociate it with NRL, AFL, NBA etc, but never cricket.

But this seems to be something very real. Teams just not bothering to turn up, just not mentally there and a poor attitude, very very weird. Even Brad Haddin mentioned this the other night, he mentioned attitude. I find this bizarre, considering that these games are essentially interviews for IPL positions and they can earn their big pay days.

Hurrricanes against Rebels, Sixers against Scorchers, Strikers.

The rebels seem to be the most motivated and the sixers seem to be the team that doesnt give a garbage the most, closley followed by the canes.

The comp is so unfair. Sixers missing Starc and Warner, while the hurricanes are untouched...
