In recent times, Windies cricket has been shocking. Gayle is not captain anymore leaving Darren Sammy as captain and Brendan Nash as vice. Ramdin has been axed because he can't score, even though he is the best gloveman in the world. The bowling attack looks crap with Edwards and Taylor not fit and out of form but there are a few young guys like Andre Russell and Nelon Pascal whom I want to see.

The worst thing about giving Sammy captaincy is it leaves you with not much bowling options. Bravo and Roach need to be in there but if you go in with two spinners on spinner friendly wickets, you only have Bravo, Roach, Sammy as the fast bowlers. Not enough firepower and they can't afford to drop a batsman as the batting is shit.

Anyway, this all turns out to be a Sri Lankan victory.

At the moment, $1.53 for a Sri Lankan first test win is looking pretty fine indeed.
