Cam White is just out of form.

He's a better test batsman than a one day one and a better 20/20 player than both forms.

Cam White is future captain of the test team so he must stay in the side.

But seriously why would the selectors not replace White for Dave Hussey? They don't lose anything in terms of the batting (could argue they improve if anything) and Hussey also provides Ponting with another slow bowler option

they should bring glenn mcgrath out of retirement to replace white. it will be an upgrade in the batting department

plus, it will mean 1 less victorian in the team
